Alika is 3

As cliche as it sounds, but time really fliessss... My (now) big girl is turning 3.

You had a baby sister when you were two. And now she's big enough to be by your side when you blew the candle.

I planned to made you Frozen themed birthday cakes, but I got sick. And I'm bad at time management, so sorry the cake is plain choco. At least it's really delicious.

And I took you to your first concert. We had some fun, aren't we :-)

Once again, happy birthday Alika... I love you to the bones.

Choco Chip Peanut Butter Cookies

Resep original dari website Taste of Home.

Bahan:
1/2 cup Peanut Butter Jam (saya sarankan tambah jadi 3/4 cup supaya lebih strong rasa peanut butter nya)
1/2 cup Brown Sugar (gula aren)
1 butir telur
1 1/4 cup oat
1/2 sdt baking soda
Choco chip merk Ceres sesuai selera

Tahapan:
1. Campur peanut butter & gula hingga rata, tambahkan telur hingga adonan agak mengembang.
2. Masukkan oat & baking soda, aduk rata.
3. Panaskan oven & lapisi loyang dengan mentega.
4. Bentuk adonan menjadi bulat dengan bantuan sendok, lalu tekan sedikit dengan garpu.
5. Panggang dalam oven dengan panas 250 derajat selama 10 menit.
6. Setelah matang, keluarkan cookies dari oven & dinginkan.

Cookies siap dinikmati...

Artsy Craftsy with Cupcake Papper Case

I got this artsy idea from a lot of artsy mama on Instagram. Those artsy craftsy mama on Instagram surely know how to make my self esteem as a mama goes down. Hahha they're very good at making crafts and art project to stimulate their kids. And god only know whether those mama are sleeping at night or not 😜😜

So for this activity, I show Alika how to do things and she follows. So most of the sheet on the right was mine and the left was hers.

What you need:
- Cupcakes papper case
- Glue
- Papper
- Paint/Crayons

Just play around with the cupcake papper case, you can use it as a flower, umbrella, the sun, ship, etc.

Happy playing...

Oatmeal Brownies

This super quick and easy brownies recipe taste so good the kids love it. It wasn't too sweet & if you had it minutes after the baking's done, the chocolate melted in your mouth. Almost like a lava cake.

Recipe is adapted from MommiesDaily.
Ingredients
– 1/2 cup oatmeal, grind with food processor
– 100 gram margarine, melted
– 1/4 cup choco powder
– 1 tbsp powdered sugar
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1 egg
– 3 tbsp choco chip cookies
– 50 gram sliced almond (I didn't use it)
Steps:
1. Mix well margarine, choco powder, vanilla & sugar. Add in sugar, mix well.
2. Add in the oatmeal, mix well. I used mixer to mix all these ingredients. Let it cool for about 10 minutes.
3. Heat the oven at 180 degrees with both heat switch on.
4. Add the choco chip to the dough. Pour the dough to the baking pan, I used cupcakes/muffin pan, on top of cupcake case.
5. Bake for 30 minutes.
My suggestion was to add more vanilla to overcome the egg smell on the finished brownies. That's why I put 1tsp instead of only 1/2 tsp.
The recipe made 6 mini cup brownies.
